ESU 10 Regional Invention Convention

Invention Convention 2008:

Each year ESU 10 hosts a Regional Invention Convention to provide a forum for schools across the region to showcase their students' best inventions.  Students participating in the convention are in grades one through eight.  This year the Invention Convention was held on April 8,2008 at ESU 10 in Kearney.  There were 54 inventions with 68 student inventors.  Some students worked as partners in creating their invention.

Each grade level was awarded 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners.  After the judging was complete, Rick Brown from the Edgerton Explorit Center in Aurora presented a program entitled "Inventors and Inventions."

April 7, 2009 will be the next regional Invention Convention.
