NCA-CASI Model for School Improvement

Founded in 1895, the North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement (NCA CASI) is a non-governmental, voluntary organization that accredits more than 9,000 public and private schools in 19 states, the Navajo Nation, and the Department of Defense Dependents' Schools worldwide. For over 100 years, the focus has been to advance the quality of education.

Educational Service Unit #10's Professional Development Department is well trained in the knowledge and use of the NCA-CASI Model for School Improvement. Any team member can assist schools in the implementation of the process. There are two members of the Department that have been certified as NCA-CASI Ambassadors. For assistance contact;Paula Mellinger, "Trish Kenagy", Kim Jonas, Elaine Specht or Bob Lungrin.
