I am Director of Professional Development at ESU 10. We have many areas of focus in Professional Development. These areas include curriculum development and alignment, instruction, assessment (including S.T.A.R.S.), meeting expectations for NCLBA, School Improvement, leadership development, affective/school safety, and particular areas regarding grants.

Some of the great people with whom I work are Bob Lungrin; Kim Jonas; Paula Mellinger;  Rosemary Cervantes, William Bolen,  Maria Ragan, Gaylene Mays, and Pam Kealey.

My undergraduate majors, gained at Hastings College, included social studies, Christian education, and drama/speech. Graduate majors are English/language arts(ISU) and gifted education(UCONN). I am currently trying to finish a Ph.D. in curriculum and instruction at UNL.

I have a family of four: my husband Wayne, and two sons: Jim and Jonathan.  I am also a Grandma, my favorite occupation so far.

                Things I like to do:

                    Read
                    Cook
                    Travel
Look out the window--usually the car windshield--and Think about things!
