Position I have been a member of the Professional Development Department at ESU 10 since July of 2006. My responsibilities include working with the Nebraska Mathematics Professional Development Series Grant Program, the Perkins Grant, and the areas of curriculum, assessment and school improvement. Education/ExperienceI graduated from the University of Nebraska at Kearney with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics Education. In addition, I earned a Master of Arts Degree in Education from UNK in School Principalship 7-12. I taught secondary mathematics for 28 years in the Grand Island Public Schools before joining ESU 10 in 2006.
PersonalMy husband, Larry, and I continue to live in Grand Island. After a 33-year career as a secondary mathematics teacher, he is currently employed part time at Central Community College as a math lab instructor. Our daughter, Julie, is an electrical engineer with Texas Instruments and our son, Tim, is a chemical engineer with ExxonMobil. Both live in the Washington, D.C. area at this time. Our Jack Russell terrier, Dave, resides in the backyard.
